When all my Pets die , I’m not getting any more . Problem solved . You can’t trust anyone or what they are telling you . And it cost big money to keep taking them in to the Vet . Im over it 🙄
Sheesh in my state of Delaware there has been a 300% rise in heartworm cases within the last 5 years. I absolutely have to keep mine on preventative but I wouldn’t if I lived in a place where it was very low. Utah Wyoming and Montana are among the lowest.
Veterinarian fees in 2026 are outrageous price-gouging. Fees should be charged on a sliding scale for what the pet-parent can actually afford. The wealthy generally don’t mind paying a little more, if they are not heartless selfish sociopaths and can see the big picture.

Best way, If you need to go to vet and think you know what you need, just act stupid. Over explaining all the symptoms to a T and if they agree and it is what it is ? You won , if they are SO far off , get a second opinion!
